The Ring of Death

ok I was just thinking about this incredibly annoying problem with the XBOX 360. I know it has happened to a good friend of mine, named Spartan Lord. He has had to get two new Xboxs. it has happened to me twice one two yeas ago and one just now on the 8th of October 2010. Luckily it was a false alarm. it was only 1 line. Because when it comes to the ring of Death. instead of a green line going around the ring in the middle of the Xbox, There are red lines
1:a Hardware Failure (just then)
2. Overheating (which happened to mine two years ago)
3.General Hardware Failure. (which is like number 1 but worse)
4.AV Cable is disconnected.
